Yonder Years Explorers Class
This class is designed for families looking for a preschool alternative or addition to their homeschooling schedule! We offer a fully outdoor drop off style class which is geared for ages 3-8yr. During our 2.5hr class kids engage in a hands on nature inspired curriculum that offers weekly topics influenced by student interests and the changing environment.
Our weekly lessons and activities could include a mix of the following: Science, math, art integration, Outdoor survival skills, Gross & fine motor development, trail exploration, storytelling, nature journaling, and creative play.
We meet in a beautiful local Lansing park that has plenty to offer. Our site includes open spaces, wooded areas, hiking trails, Grand river access/viewing spots, and hills to play on.
